Complete set including sliding door: the automatic chicken door set consists of a control unit and a sliding door, enabling the poultry coop to open and close automatically.

Opening and closing based on light levels: the chicken door can be controlled based on daylight and automatically opens or closes the sliding door depending on the light levels.

Opening and closing by time: in addition to light-sensing control, fixed opening and closing times can be set for the automatic chicken door.

Integrated weekend mode: the opening and closing times can be set separately for weekdays and weekends and adjusted flexibly.

Mains or battery operation: the set can be powered by 230 volts or 4 x AA batteries and is suitable for stables with or without a power connection.

Safety features:

  • A time delay on the light signal prevents unwanted opening during lightning or short-term brightness.
  • If the slider encounters resistance by an animal when closing, the process is stopped and then continued.
  • The device automatically switches off if there is a motor overload.
