Hygiene and speed: the tail trimmer removes soiled tail hairs in just around 10 seconds. This keeps udders, drift parlours and the entire milking area cleaner, whilst at the same time reducing the cleaning effort required in the stable.
Output and endurance: the tail trimmer can be operated with almost any cordless drill rated for 14 V and delivering between 1,200 and 1,750 min. Depending on the battery capacity, up to 70 tails can be cut per battery charge.
Titanium nitride-coated or standard blades: the coated blades are designed for intensive use and can cut up to 3,000 tails soiled with sand or up to 6,000 lightly soiled tails. Under normal operating conditions, the Tailwell cutting unit remains sharp for more than 2,000 tails.
